Rice and Noodles

Ingredients

3/4CupBasmati rice
3/4CupVermicelli noodles
3 1/4CupsWater
1TbspBaharat
1TbspOlive oil
Salt

Steps

  1. In a heavy bottom pot add the olive oil and sauté the noodles until browned.

  2. Add the rice, baharat and salt and continue cooking for a couple of minutes stirring constantly.

  3. Bring to a boil and lower the heat. Simmer until the water has consumed. Let it rest covered for at least 15 minutes.
